Rabacal is the trailhead most people mean when they say they want to do a levada walk, and the 25 Fontes route ends at a waterfall basin fed by dozens of springs. We had an exciting walk through a 1km tunnel, which needed a torch. It was a moderate walk- mostly flat but with some steps to climb. A great experience. Would recommend.”
