The Tuk Tuk was great fun and a terrific way to see Funchal and really interesting to learn about the history. “Had a lovely ride in the tuk tuk with Ricardo who did some stops along the way up to Monte. He has a great sense of humour and we both throughly recommend using this tour as an alternative way to explore the Island. The tobogganing is 100% worth it and will set you back 35 euros for 2 people for the ride. I advise booking this tour early to avoid the queues. We booked 9:30am, this was only a 10 minute wait at the top. Stopped off in the farmers market on the way down and by the santa maria church for some photos. Give it a go, it's fun…”
