“A very skilled and fun driver (Ruiz/ also nicknamed “penguin”) took us around a very picturesque area. He had a fantastic sense of humour and within 5 minutes the whole group was bonding over a good banter. 4 by 4 really helps around Madeira as Ruiz was skilfully climbing steep medeiran roads with a remarkable skill. The route takes you to pretty areas and is not too short or not too long. Our only point of improvement would be making the winery more involved during the visit.
