“I was very impressed with this company, we were given clear information. I had questions before the trip which were answered almost immediately. The bus arrived on time and departed within 10 minutes of the scheduled time. The walk was quite hard in parts but absolutely beautiful. I believe the trail is closed for now due to forest fires. We staying in the Lido area and the journey took 1h30m both ways. The bus picks you up and drops you off in the same order. All in all, a great company that I'm happy to recommend.Read more”

“Great small group trip, van was nice and pick up punctual. We had about 1 1/2 hours for sunrise to either sit and watch or hike, then coffee stop, then stop for nice views for a few minutes. The highlight was the last part with the hike at Larano which was stunning! It took a couple of hours or so as we leisurely hiked most of it, some parts more moderate difficulty but not hard. Got some great pictures and safe ride home. I'm glad I chose this tour”

It has everything from farming to plant life and scenery that is breathtaking The guide Charlotte was great , knowledgeable, engaging and her enthusiasm about showing off all the different aspects of the island was amazing. “Die Aktivität war okay. Leider wurde in der früh die Entscheidung getroffen, vom Strand mit Wellen zum Strand ohne Wellen zu wechseln. Als Begründung wurde die starke Strömung angeführt. Jedoch war hier der Hintergrund, dass es durch die Strömung wohl zu anstrengend gewesen wäre, den Unterricht durchzuführen. Lebensgefährdende Gründe wurden nicht angeführt. Surfen ohne Wellen macht nunmal keinen Spaß.”

“Spent a lot of time looking into Levada tours… some are for adrenaline junkies who like the heights. As someone who is a bit wary of heights I wanted a walk that gave a feeling of elevation, good views etc. This walk was a perfect combination. The valleys are agricultural as opposed to mountainous and show how the levadas are used on the terraces by farmers. There are some open, steepish bits but nothing to worry about. The walk takes in views of villages and farmsteads, old terraced platforms with farmers tending crops. It gives a good picture of agricultural life. “The best way I can describe this tour is like spending the day with friends who live out of town. Richard and Katrin were very welcoming and attentive throughout the entire tour! The communication was clear and I was well-prepared with what I needed.
